Cheesy Puffs / Saleuri cu branza

Ingredients

1 package of puff pastry ( 2 sheets )

1 egg

200g mozzarela finely grated

2 tbsp of paprika

6 tbsp sesame seeds

4 tbsp poppy seeds

Salt

Thaw the pastry sheet at room temperature for 40 minutes or until it’s easy to handle. Heat the oven to 400°F. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper. Stir the egg in a small bowl.

Unfold the pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface. Roll the sheets into a 12-inch square each. Brush with the egg mixture. Sprinkle the salt, paprika, mozzarella cheese, sesame seeds, and poppy seeds.

Cut the pastry into 40 rectangles per sheet. Place it on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 15-18 minutes or until golden.

Serve it immediately. Impossible not to… :)

    ai mei (ca brazii) mînca ‘n disperare de-astea si “pateuri” cu brinza telemea, noroc cu aluatul asta congelat, altfel nu sh’ce ma faceam

    De n-aveam aluatul congelat, bateam la aluat de 300 de ori pe-o parte, 300 pe alta, parca asa era reteta, nu?

    de la primu -si ultimu- aluat facut acu vro cinci milenii, n-am mai pus mîan pe asa ceva, deci, nu mai stiu bine , da parca da, de cel putin 300 de batai pe ora cit ii ziua de lunga, e vorba:))
